Donate Goods
Are you interested in helping out at First Step but feel you don't have the time? Please consider making a charitable donation of goods to First Step. Donations of goods are given to clients and used in our shelters and offices. First Step would greatly appreciate gifts of the following items:- Kitchen Items: cereal, juices, spaghetti sauce, cooking oil, Ziploc bags, heavy bottom pots and pans (not Teflon), heavy duty baking sheets.
- Baby Items: baby wipes, diapers (small and extra large).
- Children's Items: new socks, new underwear, new pajamas, washable markers, table games.
- Office Items: file folders, large manila envelopes, legal pads, binders, paper cutter, Post-It notes, copy paper, ink pens (blue), sharpie markers, dry erase markers, CDR discs, CDRW discs.
- Ink Cartridges: HP15, HP56, HP57, HP78, HP Laserjet 1000.
- Fax Cartridges: Sharp UXC70B.
- Women's Items: new nightgowns, new socks, new underwear.
- Miscellaneous: Clorox wipes, dishwasher detergent, batteries, light bulbs, liquid anti-bacterial soap, Styrofoam cups (coffee size), pre-paid phone cards, dish towels, dish cloths, bath towels, gas cards.
- First Aid: Band-aids, Tylenol, Advil, Aspirin.
- Large Items: heavy duty metal storage shelves (15-20). A gift card from Lowe's or another home improvement store would be greatly appreciated.
